Welcome! In Irvington, all businesses are owner-operated, as our ordinances do not permit chain locations. Before you set a grand opening date, we recommend reaching out to Justin Nelson (jnelson@irvingtonva.gov), the Town Zoning Administrator.
Our business district ordinances allow for various uses, which you can review online via our MuniCode site. Please note that depending on your chosen location and type of business, you may need to obtain a Conditional Use Permit from the Town Council. This process can take up to 90 days.
